Following the technical economic and reglementary validations obtained, vbc3000 carried out an evaluation to establish the potential in France of the industrialization of its process.
It decided to focus its efforts on 4 industrial units, which present favourable technical, economic and strategic conditions

• vbc 3000 Seine aval àt Bouafles (department Eure), with SIAAP and Cemex
• vbc 3000 West in the department of Mayenne
• vbc 3000 East
• vbc 3000 North in the area "Nord Pas-de-Calais"

vbc 3000 SEINE AVAL AT BOUAFLES (EURE)
In 2005, vbc3000 signed an agreement with the ”SYNDICAT…SIAPP to test the transformation of sewage sludges at the Seine Aval (Achères) site.
At the same time, the CEMEX aggregates company wanted to welcome an industrial unit using the vbc process to transform the clayey fines residue from its aggregate extraction activities with the sludge from sewage treatment works of local government and companies. The combination of these requirements allowed the opportunity to study the vbc 3000 unit on the CEMEX quarry site located at Bouafles. It took place between July 2006 and June 2007 under the control of a steering committee made up of local elected representatives qualified organisations and some representatives from civil society.

The positive conclusions of these works have led vbc 3000 to request authorisation from Mr Le Préfet
de l'Eure to start production.

The reglementary framework for the vbc3000 West site has been defined so the installation could be started very quickly . The buyer of the working licence would benefit from an agreement to have sludge delivered for many years..
