A study in the Nord-Pas de Calais region has made it possible to validate the double valorization of sewage sludge with sediments from the river and port dredging operations by the vbc 3000 process.

This capacity of the process has been confirmed by the study of the industrialization of vbc 3000 SEINE AVAL, which includes the valorization of sediments from the Port Autonome du Havre.

The National Research Agency has invested vbc 3000‘s process with the honour of Ecotechnology and Sustainable Development project 2006.

The works of the industrial group Expantherm, led by the Environmental and Metallurgy Laboratory of the National Institute Polytechnic of Lorrraine, will enable the spread of this vbc 3000 process to other deposits than those of sewage sludges.
